New York Yankees. April 20-25th
Recently, the New York Yankees traveled to Boston and Texas and won 3 out of 5 games. Against those two teams, that is considered pretty good in regard to how the Rangers and Red Sox have played the last couple of years. The Yankees went to Boston and played the Red Sox last Friday and Saturday winning both games with a combined score of 21-11. They spoiled the Red Sox 100 year anniversary of their stadium winning on Friday with a score of 6-2. Alex Rodriguez, Nick Swisher, Eric Chavez, and Russel Martin hit a combined 5 home runs as Ivan Nova picked up his 15th consecutive regular-season decision, allowing two runs on seven hits with no walks and five strikeouts in six innings. The next day, the New York Yankees came from behind and won 15-9 after being down 9-0. They scored 7 runs in consecutive innings as it tied their bast comeback in team history. The Yankees lost 2 out of 3 to the Rangers with a combined score of 13-10. They won the first game but lost the last two as they could not get their bats going and scored only 3 combined runs in the final two games. The Yankees' season looks promising as they have faced some of the top teams so far and have fared pretty good against them with the exception of the Rangers. If they play to their potential and display their full talent then they have the possibility of becoming the World Series champions this year.

Daniel-good job on choosing a topic that fits you. It is a lot easier to write about something when you really like it.
ReplyDeleteTips-
-First of all, your background is clean, but a bit boring. You should find a good picture to put up that will really let people know that this is a sports blog. People come to your blog not only for text and something to read, but they want something that looks cool too.
-Secondly, you should try to find a way to insert some pictures, videos or other visually stimulating material in your blog posts. It's pretty easy to do, and just ask me or another classmate how to do this. I think it would be cool to import box scores from particular games-I'm sure you could find them somewhere. It would be cool to have that right next to the article.
All in all, a good start. Just try and experiment a little, and figure out how to customize this blog to fit your theme.
